The team leaded by Mar Valés-Gómez from CNB-CSIC in Madrid described a new method to detect small amounts of urine derived EVs without prior enrichment. The authors developed a a method to successfully analyze the EV composition from as little as 500ul of minimally processed urine.
The study has been done in a joint effort with the team leaded by María Yañéz-Mó from UAM Centro de Biología Molecular Severo Ochoa.
